The Challenge
La Corte di Laura is a restaurant set in the countryside of Granaiola, near Bagni di Lucca, offering traditional Tuscan cuisine built on local ingredients and a menu that changes with the seasons. Being off the main city routes, the website needed to be found by people searching for an authentic experience in the area and turn that search into a booking, while keeping running costs low for Laura.
The Solution
We built an Astro showcase website with a warm visual identity matching the restaurant’s atmosphere, featuring the seasonal menu and a table booking option with no automation behind it — a deliberate choice to keep management costs down. Alongside the website, we added a blog, a key lever for organic positioning on local search terms (Bagni di Lucca, Lucca): work that takes time and a steady stream of written content.
The Result
A site that works as an authentic showcase for the restaurant, able to reach people searching for a genuine Tuscan experience and guide them all the way to a reservation. The blog, kept up by Laura with varying consistency, remains the tool with the most untapped potential: we’re hoping that, over time, the value of publishing more regularly becomes easier to see.
